Vasyl Biletsky was born on December 15, 1956 in Ukraine to a Baptist pastor.
Like many children of believing parents, he went to study, and not being a born-again Christian, he completely departed from God and immersed himself in worldly life.
He married an unbelieving girl. And as expected, after the birth of three children, family difficulties came that completely destroyed their marriage. After seven years of living together, they divorced. But, thank God, through the prayer of his parents, a miracle happened. A year after the divorce, God gave him a strong repentance and a complete conversion to God. These were such strong changes in his heart that his life completely changed. He devoted himself entirely to the ministry of preaching the Gospel, for which he was expelled from his job in leadership positions by the communists.
Pastor Vasyl served in several denominations as a preacher, deacon, pastor, and also senior pastor in the city of Kyiv. He studied at the Bible school, graduated from Chicago Bible College and is an honorary doctor of theology.
He prayed all the time and stood in faith for the salvation of his family, and God, faithful to His word, performed a miracle. After 15 years of divorce, the whole family repented, and the marriage was restored. Today the whole family serves God.
Serving God amidst the persecution of the communist system, family difficulties tempered his faith and taught him practical God's wisdom and experience.
In 2001, after a vision of the movement in which he served, the pastor went as a missionary to the USA, where he and his wife opened a new church in the city of Sacramento, which later grew into a network of churches with a Bible school in New York.
In 2011, God called him to independent ministry. Currently, Pastor Vasyl Biletsky is the senior pastor of the Kingdom of God Missionary Church and a network of churches in the United States and Ukraine. He is the father of three children and the grandfather of 8 grandchildren.
